Jill Morris has been selected as the Western District of Missouri's newest United States Magistrate Judge.  Ms. Morris will fill the position previously held by Judge Matt Whitworth.  Ms. Morris is currently the Director of the WDMO Mediation and Assessment Program, having served in that position since 2013.  Previously Ms. Morris served in private practice and as a law clerk to District Judge Nanette K. Laughrey.  Her term will begin after official clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
