Search Feature

Did you know that CM/ECF offers a SEARCH feature in the blue menu bar for those times when you just can't seem to locate the correct event?

The Search feature is located at the top right hand corner of the blue menu bar of ECF. Click on Search and enter a keyword from the document you are filing (i.e. Motion to Pay Filing Fee in Installments, you could search pay or installments). If you search for "Pay", ECF provides several choices in the events category dropdown. You can then select the one that best matches your document. Once you choose the correct event, click on the title and you will have a direct link to that entry. Additionally, the Search feature finds reports which contain the keyword entered.

If you have any questions about this or any other CM/ECF feature, please contact the Bankruptcy Clerk's Office at 816-512-1800 for assistance.

Attorney/Staff Training is available for all Bankruptcy ECF users. Please contact Cecelia Parle by email at or by phone at 816-512-1838 to reserve your space.
