It is the bar member's responsibility to notify the court immediately with any changes in their status. Such changes name include name, firm, address, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address.
Notification should be sent to:
| Jeri Russel via email at jeri_russel@mow.uscourts.gov | or | U.S. Courthouse Attn: Attorney Admissions 80 Lafayette Street Jefferson City, MO 65101 |
Members of the USDC/USBC WDMO must pay an annual fee to maintain an "active" status with the court. Notice will be sent to "active" members each January. Payment is due by March 31 of each year. The current due amount is $20.00. Payment should be submitted electronically, using your ECF login and password. If you do not know your login and password information, please contact Jeri Russel at jeri_russel@mow.uscourts.gov.
Members may request inactive status. This allows them to remain members, but they may not practice in the WDMO. While on inactive status, members do not pay an annual fee. Members will be placed on inactive status by the Court, if they fail to pay the annual fee. To submit requests, email jeri_russel@mow.uscourts.gov.
Members may request to be reinstated as an "active" member of the bar by paying a reinstatement fee online, via District CM/ECF. You will need your District Court login and password and have a credit card or bank account ready from which the $100 fee may be paid. Upon logging in to District CM/ECF, you will find the link for Attorney Reinstatement under the Civil tab. Please contact Jeri Russel at jeri_russel@mow.uscourts.gov if you have any questions.
Certificates of good standing are available through our District Court electronic filing Website. You will need your District Court login and password and have a credit card or bank account ready from which the $18.00 fee may be paid. See procedures for obtaining a certificate of good standing.
